With at times up to 46 aircraft in its fleet, Northwest Orient Airlines was one of the largest DC-10 operators. The first "three-holers" were introduced in 1972, the last being retired in the year 2007. This model sports the livery of the 1970s and 1980s and is part of the limited-edition series, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the DC-10.
